What performance can you expect?

Downlink traffic

We can comfortably state that DiVination adds 30% virtual bandwidth to broadband networks, on top of existing optimization solutions.

The figure below shows an average DiVinated link, where the red area is the original traffic passing through the link and the green area is added DiVinated traffic. The DiVinated traffic represents additional virtual bandwidth provided by the DiVinator.

In this case, over 550Mbps were transmitted over a 350Mbps link - an almost 60% increase in effective bandwidth. 



Uplink Traffic

The congestion in the uplink is typically generated by a few users who run massive uplink applications - peer-to-peer, multimedia sharing, bulk emailing, etc. These applications are very repetitive in nature and can therefore be effectively handled by DiVinators.

Uplink DiVination, as applied by DiViAccess, shrinks traffic from such sources by a ratio of up to 40:1. Thus, DiVination practically eliminates non-encrypted uplink-congesting traffic.
